Read 20 with Alaina (2021)
Welcome!
If you're here, you probably have a goal of reading more or diversifying what you read. #Read20withAlaina will help you achieve your goal!
When I graduated college in 2017 I was burnt out from all the academic reading I had done over the the previous four years. I wanted to fall in love with reading again, so I began participating in reading challenges. Now, I've created one of my own. I hope you'll join me!
How it works:
There are 20 prompts. Choose any prompt to start. You can complete the prompts in any order. Select a book that matches the chosen prompt. I suggest looking at the books lying around your house and trying to see which prompt they fit. If you get stuck or need more ideas, always feel free to reach out! When you finish reading a book, check off the corresponding prompt and move to on to your next book/prompt. Feel free to incorporate a variety of fiction and nonfiction! Once you have read one book for each prompt, you have completed the challenge. 🏅
Social Media
To help us build our reading community, share this challenge with your friends and family! Once you begin reading, share what you're reading on social media in posts or stories with the hashtag #read20withAlaina. Make sure you tag @overflow_byalaina (Instagram) and @Alaina Goodwin (Facebook) so I see your posts! Trust me, your fellow bookworms will appreciate the suggestions! 🤓If you're not into the social media side of things, we still want you on board our challenge. 🚂
I'm so excited to see what you read this year! Stay tuned for goodies and prizes throughout the year.

I also love tracking my reads on Goodreads. It keeps record of my stats for the year and shows what percent I am at in each book. This keeps me motivated!
